Crystal Bracelet Size Guide: How to Measure Your Wrist and Choose the Right Fit

A crystal bracelet should feel intentional, not distracting. Too tight and it presses into the wrist; too loose and it moves constantly or catches on objects. Measuring takes less than a minute and helps you choose with confidence.

How to measure your wrist

1. Use a soft measuring tape. If you do not have one, use a strip of paper or non-stretch string.
2. Wrap it around the wrist where you normally wear a bracelet, just below the wrist bone.
3. Keep it flat against the skin without pulling tightly.
4. Mark the meeting point and measure the length against a ruler.

Record the measurement in centimetres and inches, especially if you are ordering internationally.

Add room for your preferred fit

Your wrist measurement is the starting point, not always the finished bracelet circumference.

• Close fit: add approximately 0.5–1 cm. This keeps the bracelet near one position on the wrist.
• Comfortable fit: add approximately 1–1.5 cm. This is the most versatile choice for everyday wear.
• Loose fit: add approximately 1.5–2 cm. Choose this if you enjoy more movement, but make sure it cannot slide over the hand.

Why bead size changes the feel

Large round beads occupy more space on the inside of a bracelet than a fine chain or small beads. Two bracelets with the same outside circumference can therefore fit differently. If you are between sizes and the design uses larger beads, the more comfortable option is generally safer.

Elastic bracelets versus fixed closures

Elastic crystal bracelets stretch over the hand but should rest without tension once worn. Avoid choosing a deliberately tight elastic fit: continuous stretching can shorten the life of the cord. Bracelets with a clasp or fixed closure require a more exact size because they do not expand over the hand.

Buying as a gift
